The Godfather

Here's a love story:

Caleb, meet Stephen.  Stephen, meet Caleb.  Admire each other.

Stephen, spoil your Godkid rotten, starting....now!

After presents, continue with mutual admiration.

Work on "Blue Steel" together.

NAILED IT!

Smile continuously for Stephen, while he takes your picture, just to stick it to Mom.

Crash and burn.

The end!

Love,
Caleb

90 Days of Cute

So, let me catch you up to speed.  Not only does Mom dress me up way too much, but then she has "visions" of all these great picture ideas.  And it ain't just holiday fun.  She makes me take pictures every month with a number tattooed to my chest next to a big sign that says CALEB.  As if I don't know my name.  But, I've done it 3 times now, so I'm kind of a professional.

At first I was pretty little, so I just tried not to cry.

Then at 2 months I knew how to smile, but I was mad at Mom cause that was when I got STABBED by the crazy lady.  So I refused to even try.

Then today (well yesterday, but last night Mom sent me to bed without my laptop) I thought I'd keep up the trend and still not smile.

Then Dad came and tried, but I hung tough.

BUT THEN - Mom got smart and gave Dad the camera.  She caught me off guard -  she came at me and kissed me all over and made funny faces and I couldn't last.  I CAVED.  I'm a Mama's boy.  Don't judge me.

And then, it happened.  The elusive camera smile was captured with my sign.

If Looks Could Kill

I learn new things all the time.  The one Mom seems most impressed with is when I flirt with her.

Learning smiles at 7 weeks

I'm super smiley until the camera comes out.  I don't want her snappin' up all my mojo!  Sometimes she tricks me though.

9 week grin

10 weeks - rocking a tux

11 weeks
Lately I've been using this skill so Mom isn't so mad when I wake her up at night.  I scream until she comes in, then I flash her a grin or two and she smiles back.  Sucker!  I'll have a car before I'm 16 - and probably a pony and whatever else I want.  I should have learned this trick weeks ago.

Once I find my giggle I'll be able to have parties in my crib every night and never get grounded.  Being cute sure has its advantages!
