School!

Mom and Dad have to go to work all day and I think they just play on their computers and talk to people.  I have actual hard work to do!

First, I have to practice my sitting skills like, ALL the time.

Then they make me play tummy time.

I also have to work on my eating skills

And I have gym class where we play with (and eat) sensory balls.

I have to take a break from all the hard work to flirt with Robbin and Debbie, my two main day care lady-friends.  Otherwise, they might forget to snuggle me.

Then it's back to music class.  I have to play instruments and sing along.

As if all that wasn't hard enough, then I have more sitting practice where they bribe me with a whole BOX of toys.

More crawling practice....

And finally some time with my stuffed purple-guy friend.

I mean, no wonder I don't have time to nap!  I have so much learning to do!  Luckily, I'm one of the bestest behaved babies because I don't cry much.  I much prefer smiling and laughing.  So Debbie and Robbin don't make me have too much sleep time because I don't wear my cranky pants for them.  I save those for the weekend!

Hospitals. Ick.

Another great adventure in the short life of Caleb-the-Pickle began after I threw up for a few days.  The 'rents finally took me to the doctor.   I know their doctor type, and sure enough, what did they do?  STOLE MY CLOTHES!

I was very concerned.

But Dad was all worried, so I eeked out a brave smile for him.  Mostly I was super happy to hear I didn't have to get shots.

Well pull my diaper!  They sure fooled me.  It was SO much worse than a shot!  I had to go to the ER because I was dehydrated and lethargic.  My sugar level was also pretty low.  My clothes were stolen, AGAIN (but I did get a super fun gown to wear), and I was TRICKED!  They gave me sugar drops and my pacifier and while I was blissfully sucking away, enjoying my sugary treat I was VIOLENTLY STABBED!

As you can see, I was very tired, and very little in that big bed.  I did get one BIG treat though.  Auntie Breanna was working and she came to love me.

I was really tired and she was such a good baby snuggler that I crashed out.  I got to go home after a few hours and I've made a full recovery!

Call me Captain Caleb

Yep, that's me under that life jacket!  I'm on a boat.  On a Lake.  Being awesome.

Safety first - ability to see/breathe/move, second.

Don't worry peeps, I was just checking the docked boat with the crew.  That's what us Captains do.

Family, the Extended Version

My Dad has a family the size of Texas.  Most haven't met me yet, cause I'm kind of hard to get a hold of (it happens when you're a big deal).  But since I flew to NY for wedding practice, I figured I should go meet all the people that spoil me from afar.

First, Cousin Marcie came.  She was extra special because she is a Minister and she gave me a baby blessing right by the Lake!  It was pretty awesome of her.

Then I finally met the Testo family.  Cousin Abby was an excellent baby entertainer.  I gave her an A+

Actually, all the Testo's, Great Aunt Kyle and Great Uncle Steve got A+'s.  I even took a nap with Uncle Steve, and I hate napping!

Then even MORE cousins came to play!  Cousin Jamie and her two daughters Ellyah and Ceres brought me so many cool gifts, including a puppy, whom I call puppy.  They made me giggle and giggle and giggle.

I forgot to get pictures of a few others - but my Great Uncle Jeff and Great Aunt Patty came, so did my Great Aunty Kathy and Great Uncle Lee.  It was probably my favorite day because I had so many new people to chew on and talk to and wow with my cute!

It is a good thing I love being spoiled! And I really love all of them!  Can't wait to go back and play again!

Going to the chapel

My Auntie Boo is getting married at the end of the month.  So, I had to practice this whole wedding thing so that I was a seasoned professional by the time I got to Auntie Boo's.  Matt and Christie's wedding seemed like a good guinea pig.

I dressed dad up so he wouldn't look like a schmuck.  Then I put on my dress blues.

I even made mom get out of her yoga pants.  I didn't want her cramping my style.

I found the prettiest girl I could to sit with (that wasn't Mom).  Her name was Leah and she's my new girlfriend.

Since Leah was so lovely to look at, I decided I would behave the whole ceremony and just charm everyone with my cute.  It totally worked, no one even noticed that chick in white.

Sadly, in keeping with true Caleb form, I pooped through my outfit.  I thought mom would have a trendier back-up, but no.  She put me in pajamas.  Totally took away my game.

I was even the guest of honor.

Since I couldn't really pick up chicks wearing 'jams, I hung with the fam.

Mom and I played super baby and don't drop the baby.  Both games make me giggle like a school girl.

Then Grandma Karen took me for a spin on the dance floor.

Finally Mom was all, "Caleb, you're kinda cranky" and she made me go home.  I had serious feelings about that. I gave her my NOT. PLEASED. face.  But she didn't care.  So, I missed the party again.  Good thing I woke Mom and Dad up at 5am to punish them.

Saratoga

Daddy took me back to the place he grew up at.  It rained, so I had to play inside.  Luckily, I wore my super cute dinosaur outfit, which made Mom speak to me in dinosaur, which made me laugh.  We played forever!

After playtime at Daddy's house, I had to go to Saratoga.  At first I was all "yay! I'm going to a party, I might even bring the parents."  But no.  I was put in JAIL.  JAIL PEOPLE.

They left me with Zach's Godmom.  I guess she was cool and all.  We had our own party while mom and dad went to their lame rehearsal for Matt and Christie's wedding.  Not like I wanted to go hang out with pretty girls and drink beer anyway.

At least they sort of made things up to me the next morning when my Grandpa came to snuggle.
