Bumbo Scmumbo

On Tuesday, Mom was all "Your girlfriend, Elise, can sit by herself and she's only 2 weeks older than you.  You should try out this fun chair Auntie Mandi gave you."

Let me tell you.  This chair sucks.

I did my best to look uninterested, but she didn't take the hint.  Since a subtle hint didn't work, I pooped up my back so she'd have to take me out and give me a bath.

Did she learn her lesson?  Nope.  She put me back in the chair.  I was super pleased.

Mom, being cute is hard enough work.  Lay off the milestones for a bit.

Big Week!

Hey Peeps, what up?  This week was a super big deal for me for a few reasons.

1. Mom went back to work (she cried about it)
2. I met lots of my neighbor friends on a walk
3. It snowed, in April (and I think Mom cried about this too)
4. My Godfather finally met me
5. I slept 10 whole hours straight

AND, most importantly?

I FOUND MY GIGGLE!
I started out having a serious chat with Mom
She was telling me stories
I started smiling so much she captured it on film

And then I giggled!

I did it again a few hours later, you know, just for good measure

Mom kissed me and clapped (which scared me), then laughed and sang and then I think she died of cute.

Wait until I can say her name.  She'll probably buy me a real live giraffe!  Or maybe an elephant.  No, definitely a giraffe.

90 Days of Cute

So, let me catch you up to speed.  Not only does Mom dress me up way too much, but then she has "visions" of all these great picture ideas.  And it ain't just holiday fun.  She makes me take pictures every month with a number tattooed to my chest next to a big sign that says CALEB.  As if I don't know my name.  But, I've done it 3 times now, so I'm kind of a professional.

At first I was pretty little, so I just tried not to cry.

Then at 2 months I knew how to smile, but I was mad at Mom cause that was when I got STABBED by the crazy lady.  So I refused to even try.

Then today (well yesterday, but last night Mom sent me to bed without my laptop) I thought I'd keep up the trend and still not smile.

Then Dad came and tried, but I hung tough.

BUT THEN - Mom got smart and gave Dad the camera.  She caught me off guard -  she came at me and kissed me all over and made funny faces and I couldn't last.  I CAVED.  I'm a Mama's boy.  Don't judge me.

And then, it happened.  The elusive camera smile was captured with my sign.

Mom has a costume problem

My mom is ridiculous.  She puts costumes on for every occasion.  It started with sister dog (Josie's doggie daycare encourages the situation www.wagnwoofs.com)

Easter Dog

Cinco de Mayo Dog
Fourth of July
Summer Puppy

Halloween

Winter Puppy

And it's continued with me.

Halloween in utero

Crab Apple Caleb

Let's be a Moose

Cupid

Oscar Party - in my Oscar de la Onesie

St. Patty's Day
March Madness - Go Gophers!

Easter is coming up.  She better not put any rabbit stuff on me like she did the dog.  She is out of control.
